ABOUT MTL BULLETIN
A little breathing room
for your budget.
MTL Bulletin is a free newsletter for people in Montréal. Our aim is to help you save on groceries and enjoy your city within your budget.
Made by locals, for locals.
MTL Bulletin is put together by real people who live in Montréal. We shop at the same grocery stores, take the same buses and métro lines and look for the same deals you do. If something makes it into the bulletin, it’s because we think it’s worth your time and money.
Groceries matter.
When money is tight, a good deal on something you already buy can make a big difference. Grocery savings are a major part of the bulletin because, these days, groceries take up a growing share of our budgets. We’ll help you find the best deals for your shopping list.
The trip matters too. A deal across town may not save you much once you account for time and transport.
Room for an outing, too.
The bulletin also covers affordable places to eat and free or low-cost things to do in Montréal. That could be a family outing, a meal with friends or somewhere new close to home.
Before you head out.
We give you the links to confirm the terms right at the source, including dates, package sizes and any loyalty-card requirements. Prices and stock can vary by location. Offers in past issues may have expired. It’s always worth checking for yourself.
Your bulletin, your language.
Choose English or French. The bulletin is published every Thursday and Saturday. You can unsubscribe right from the email.
